I have no issue with the available weights, but would much appreciate a Fira Mono Light.

However, I would advise against using Source Code Pro Light as a reference; in my experience, it is quite too thin. Nitti Light seems to strike a better balance for a working monospace.

To me Fira Mono Medium is to Bold and Fira Mono Regular is too light. I feel like their needs to be something in the middle. Thanks!

+1 from me too on a Fira Mono Light weight. Fira Mono has become my go-to monospaced font. A 'Light' weight would nicely complement the existing ones and provide a more pleasant 'default' font for coding, tabular data etc.

Very +1.
iTerm2’s latest nightlies have a thinner font rendering option available, however it can tend to make the rendering very spindly. A proper light version would be fantastic to have available. :)

Fira Code does have a light weight, which looks very neat, but would be nice to have it for Fira Mono as well.
