@whimboo I am completely new to Mozilla development, and somewhat new to github. I have worked with Python though. I would like to see if I can help here. Let me know if you think I can contribute. First I need to understand what all I need installed on my machine to replicate the issue, and then work on fixing it. If you think this is not the right issue for me to get started with, please do not hesitate to say so :-)

I checked this issue and repository, and as it tells on the main page it is no longer in use. Indeed we should have removed the mentored issues. Sorry that this hasn't been done before.
If you want to contribute to an active project please have a look at https://github.com/mozilla/mozdownload/issues. There are a plenty of open issues you could pick, and I'm happy to mentor you on those.
