Configuration ENV for mysql support? about movim_docker HOT 3 CLOSED

@poVoq is there any reason why you can't use a PostgreSQL container? MySQL has many issues why you should probably avoid using it for a production system.

Is there a reason it should not be possible given that Movim has the support build in?

In my specific case I would like to use an external database server that only runs MySQL.

Edit: if MySQL is really that problematic, then I guess it should be dropped from Movim. But in my experience it works fine and given that the support for it in Movim is actively maintained it is probably better if there are people using and testing it (which is much easier with Docker).
