is network and remote control enabled in propresenter with a password set for control? it uses the app interface which should be standard between mac and pc but really wouldn’t surprise me if it was different, i’ll try to get my hands on a windows install to test with

Running ProPresenter on local machine (same machine as Companion).
Tried both machines IPv6 Address and localhost IP (127.0.0.1)
Sometimes it will show as connected, specifically if i change the port to 50001, but won't control ProPresenter.
I know it isn't connecting because i can throw a false password at it Companion still thinks its connecting.
Tried literately everything... nothing seems to be working. Suspect this is an issue with ProPresenter.

also this is old and probably broken, use the current one https://github.com/bitfocus/companion-module-renewedvision-propresenter, I didn't realise what repo this was on when I replied

Will try the current one and report back. To confirm, I tested with the repo on a Mac and it works fine - so this is defiantly a Windows ProPresenter issue. Will report back when I have tested current.

Ah, didn't realise i'd have to compile - you don't happen to have a Windows binary that you could share do you?
