You are completely right. So the parameters in an input file will be the following.

potential = "Harmonic"
parameters = [
{indices = [ 0, 1], var_eq = 3.8, k = 100.0},
# ...
]

Is this okay?

What about "eq_val"? Since there are many interactions: bond, angle, go, etc.

Or maybe just "eq"

{indices = [ 0, 1], eq = 3.8, k = 100.0},

I think just eq is clear enough. This abbreviation (equilibrium -> eq) is widely used.
too long line makes it difficult to read/write a file (although now it is short enough).
