The end
option of useDrag
hook is called by dropping outside the dropable area or by canceling with the ESC key, so it is necessary to distinguish between these two.
If the drop is outside the dropable area, it should be dropped at the placeholder position, and if the ESC key is pressed, the drop should be canceled.

Hi @minop1205 , I'm currently having this exact issue. I'm trying to drop an item with a placeholder at the top or bottom (outside of the normal droppable area) but onDrop doesn't get called.
Did you manage to find a solution for this or a potential work around?

Having this exact issue. Does anyone has a fix or a workaround?

We have addressed this issue by not displaying placeholders when dragging over outside the dropable area.
