It would be nice to have support for these, and it's definitely within of the scope of the library, but it might require some rethinking to get this functionality in place. Rivets only knows about how to interface with model objects and has no knowledge of any views or controllers. Perhaps if rivets.bind
could accept an object containing these functions (a view, controller, or whatever), and then just call any of the event functions on that object.
Another thing to note is that both Backbone and Spine facilitate this well by mapping events to functions inside the view/controller itself, so there would be some feature overlap there.
