Also an aside, you shouldn't need "@ts-expect-error" anymore if you import the type from react-native-macOS instead of react-native

Just tested this again with 0.72.1 and it is working there.

I thought it was expected that setValue would move the cursor to the end of the text. Do you know if this is a regression from an earlier version?

yeah, I think so. I was a long time ago, but it was immediately broken when the big merge happened.

Yeah this is a bug I run into frequently.. I took a crack at it earlier and didn't find a solution. Just wanted to give a small update
