Thanks for providing this preview!
For future previews, it would be super helpful if you published the Release value (HKLM\Software\Microsoft\NET Framework Setup\NDP\v4\Full) of the given build. It would save some time preparing deployment scripts.

I have not tried to do anything 4.7.1 specific, but just went about my normal daily behaviors.
Over the past month I have not noticed it impacting me in any way, so for me/my setup it has been a smooth and fully compatible update. 👍

I obviously know that this is pre-release, but do you have some form of script that can be used to install on an Azure Cloud Service as a startup task.
Something similar to this would be great: https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/azure/cloud-services/cloud-services-dotnet-install-dotnet
I guess that some of the missing info is probably related to @jberezanski question above
