Support's JSON feature hasn't changed in a really long time. I suspect it's clojure.data.json 0.2.4
that needs yet another bunch of workarounds because
they just can't figure out semantic versioning and that it's possible to do releases that are backwards compatible.
Try data.json 0.2.3
or (I can't recommend this enough) just use Cheshire, which doesn't require doing a voodoo dance around it every few months.

Actually, Monger is tested against 0.2.4
. Try moving [clojure.data.json]
above Monger in your ns macro.

Moving clojure.data.json before Monger doesn't help. It still fails as whenever monger.joda-time is included in the ns declaration.
This is my first venture into Clojure, so I appreciate your recommendation to use Cheshire. I'll just make the switch and neither of us have to spend any more time on this issue.
Thanks for your incredibly quick reply!
