I will delete this function.
But I will add use / or some other key to open a line of command input at the bottom to replace this function.

I don't care if you add it, it's your application. But IMO if you need another terminal at the same time, use a terminal multiplexer.

wait, we can do that? what is the keybinding for that?

Wow i never know that.
but i think not everyone using Tmux
.
One idea I actually came up with is to use /
or some other key to open a line of command input at the bottom.

@AnshumanNeon Yep, in globalController.go
.

nope, nothing happening on pressing ctrl+t

Sure, not everyone is using Tmux. But not everyone is using VLC or MPV either but that doesn't mean we would implement it in a file manager^^

i am using tmux
from superfile.
It spawns but nothing happens. It's inherently broken (and just a bad idea IMO).

yeah, i don't think that it has a use. i'll just remove it.

May i ask about why not?
I mean it's very useful for opening like "code .", at least for me :(

You might want to open the terminal directly to the directory you have navigated to in the file panel.

@MHNightCat Was this added? It was the first thing I looked for when trying Superfile today.
I do use TMUX, but that doesn't mean a quick way to execute commands isn't welcome, especially if there's a way to automatically include selected files in the Visual selection mode. ( e.g / <command> {}
)
The file manager nnn
(nĀ³) has this sort of feature, for reference. You can launch a shell in the PWD or enter a command in a prompt, as well as a very useful "cd
on quit".
Midnight Commander, an old and well known TUI file manager, also features a command-line at the bottom approach.
As does Ranger.
Edit: Made into a new issue. #127
