Thanks for the patch. I will apply it to the code in the repository.
The compiler errors seems to be related to 64-bit systems. Unfortunately, I don't have such a system available to test the code in advance.

Thanks for the confirmation. I've now set up a virtual box running Fedora 64 to test dvisvgm in a 64 bit environment. I will upload version 0.8.1 today that, among other things, fixes some bugs ocurred on x64 systems.
