Spaces in meeting_id causes bug on BBB server about bigbluebutton_rails HOT 3 CLOSED

Hi hpuit, thanks for sharing it.

I was merging your commit into bigbluebutton_rails but I was unable to reproduce this issue. If I create a conference with spaces in the meetingID from our server (mconfweb.inf.ufrgs.br), it works fine.
Are you sure the problem is only with spaces in the meetingid?

Also, the URLs are already being escaped before making the API calls.

I'm gonna wait for the BBB guys to confirm it (http://code.google.com/p/bigbluebutton/issues/detail?id=942) or solve the issue.

OK. I did verify this against our BBB server ( http://bbb.highpoint.edu/bigbluebutton/api ).

But I did not setup/install the BBB server, so maybe it is just us who experience the problem.
