Looks like the getMessage() was called from a null.

What's the chance of the e.getCause() inside the statement below resolve to a null value?

catch (Exception e) {
  Log.d("RNSensitiveInfo", e.getCause().getMessage());
}

If it resolves to a null, does anyone know how to handle it to avoid this exception mentioned by @igorrfc?

That's true, @luisfmsouza. Good catch.
The getMessage method is used when the exception comes from a chain of exceptions, it returns the original/root cause of the error. Looks like there is a missing validation which leads to a absence of a cause. Then, when the cause is not defined, the getCause returns null.
With that said, is that a bad idea to change the getCause().getMessage() to printStackTrace()?
