It looks like your server is still running, you said it dropped to zero? try pidof valheim_server.x86_64 and let me know if returns a number

After start, it returns number.
After disconnection from server, no number is returned.

Found in syslog, seems like run out of memory (VPS had 2GB of total memory).
Upgraded to 4GB of total memory and seems to be running fine now.
No other log telling something usefull.

Yes, it is a bit memory hungry. No problem with the docker container per se. ^^

Is there any mechanism to "capture" this kind of process kill and log it / report it to user?

Normally Docker should detect that the target process has crashed and fallback to Docker's methods of handling (eg restart and marked OOM_KILLED true under docker inspect). It looks like the ENTRYPOINT in the Dockerfile is bash though, and since the script is "successful", the error never propagates. Something like tini should fix this - https://github.com/krallin/tini

I dont see how baking in another resource on top of odin, steamcmd, and gosu would help. @vorpalhex would you mind adding more reasoning not to use the HEALTHCHECK function of a docker image? or creating a branch with a working example of this?
