Hey, Mattermost AI community! 👋
We're looking for help on this one. 👀 In this issue, we want to better handle scenarios where the Mattermost GitHub plugin is missing and/or not connected. For context, the AI plugin can use the GitHub plugin for additional functionality such as reading and summarizing issues. For this to work, the GitHub plugin must be installed and enabled, and the user needs to have connected their account. Once this is done, this plugin can use its GitHub-related features.
For those interested in tackling this, here are some starting points:
- Understand how this plugin utilizes the GitHub plugin.
- Consider how this could scale to other plugins. Imagine any plugin could be used by this one. What's the ideal experience for facilitating this?
