enough for your purpose?

Oops sorry, you said "converted" files...

For that purpose, I recommend you use "Automatically add to iTunes" folder 
which iTunes provides. See http://support.apple.com/kb/ht3832

By setting the folder as an output folder, converted files are imported to 
iTunes, and the files are moved to the appropriate place in the iTunes media 
folder.

In case you use the folder, do not forget to check "Move to the destination 
after finish" option (if you convert files when iTunes is already launched).

Are the deleted files saved to a temp folder so they can be recovered?  I think 
I just lost half a folder of flac files as two processes were running at once.
