Hm, PX-760A seems to have different Q-subchannel format. How about this test
build?

Well, that was quick!

It works better, I tried a few CD's but found one oddity. On one of my CD's,
the pregaps for the last two tracks are not detected.

I've tested the same CD with the regular build of XLD on an old MacBook with a
built-in Matashita CW8221 and XLD detected them perfectly:

So we're almost there, I think. A few years ago, the PX-760A was THE drive to
do DAE so I believe that a lot of people still use it. Its support will be a
nice addition to XLD!

So, at least "always 00:00:00" is fixed?

Yes, it works for most of the discs I've tried now, with the oddity I showed
you (I don't know how frequent it is).

Should I keep opened this issue?

I don't know. My PX-760A is aging and maybe the problem it shows is just a
mechanical problem. I suppose it depends on how standard you way of reading
Q-subchannel is.
An XLD release with support for PX-760A's would probably generate valuable
feedback, especially if you ask users to be vigilant to this problem in the
changelog.
But the choice is yours, obviously.

OK. I think the issue you have with the specific disc has nothing to do with
the (fundamental) problem I've fixed for PX-760A. So I'll close this issue
after releasing the new version including this fix.

If you have any further findings or troubles with PX-760A please create a new
issue report again.
