Tested with my iPod touch 4G, and no problem found. I've also looked into the
ALAC file itself, and it looks fine.

I'm adding a new note on this.
This seems to have to do with the character encoding settings in preferences.
I used japanese auto-detect on these during the time I reported them. Since
then, I reset the preferences (deleted all .plist files), and selected unicode
utf-8 as the character set for the cue file. This seems to have corrected the
issue.
It seems this jp auto-detect has a flaw somewhere?

I always use with Japanese auto-detect setting.
