The "yarn install" isn't compatible with my current node.js version , and it is the most recent version with windows 7 supported. Is there any other way for this problem ?

It may be worth trying one of the newer versions, you may be able to manually install the node binary according to this stackoverflow answer.

A thought for the long term will be that if your machine is capable of it, upgrading to Windows 8.1 or higher, to avoid software compatibility issues.

Upgrading windows isn't possible right now, coz it's my dad's work pc as well.
What if I implement the changes in the code and pull up a PR and someone else checks/runs it? I've added the required changes in card.js file .
