Hi,
Please check the below codesandbox for information. Count of viewport mentioned as 30. But there is only one data. Even though there is one, remaining 29 are created. So the hover effect is available for those empty as well. It would be great if those empty are not created.

Ok, thanks for taking the effort of making a sandbox.

Now I see that you are using ext-grid, which has experimental status, and still has some bugs.
I don't think this plugin will get production status soon (ever?).
