Makes sense. I will do that ASAP
from mapfish-print.
I have
- created a branch based on that commit
- Cherry-picked all the commits that fix bugs that do not have to do with spring
- Uploaded the 1.2.0-SNAPSHOT to https://oss.sonatype.org/content/repositories/snapshots/org/mapfish/print/print-lib/1.2.0-SNAPSHOT/
- Changed the version number on master to 2.0.0-SNAPSHOT
Could you test the 1.2.0-SNAPSHOT for regressions. If it is clean then I will publish it as 1.2.0

I'm having some problems using that repository... Maven complains that it cannot find dependency org.mapfish.geo:mapfish-geo-lib:jar:1.2-SNAPSHOT
Previously we have used the repository at http://dev.mapfish.org/maven/repository for mapfish-print 1.2.0-SNAPSHOT where mapfish-geo-lib also is found.
If I add both mentioned repos I'm really not sure which version I'm getting.

I guess I should try it. I am working on this in the cracks that I can find. The url I was thinking was:
https://oss.sonatype.org/content/repositories/snapshots/
I don't know if that is what you used. If it was then... that is odd because I can see it on line.
If you used the full url I posted above that won't find it certainly.

I will make a small project to test the snapshots url.
ALso make sure you have snapshots enabled for that repository.

I used https://oss.sonatype.org/content/repositories/snapshots/ as repo path and maven finds the artifact print-lib, but that artifact has a depencency on mapfish-geo-lib which does not exist in that same repo.

Ah understand. I guess I need to publish that as well. I will look into
it. Thanks for the clarification

I have now tested and have found that I can build with only two repositories:
mavenRepo url: "https://oss.sonatype.org/content/repositories/snapshots"
mavenRepo url: "http://download.osgeo.org/webdav/geotools"
Can you verify that you can now as well?
from mapfish-print.
I can verify that these repos will allow me to build 1.2.0-SNAPSHOT and also run my application without regression problems.

Nice. I am going to test for a week or so more in some other projects.
And then I will publish the official release.
Thanks for the help testing
