Hi. I am having the same issue. When running the find_button script, I see the device send a UDP packet (Assuming DHCP).
I know the newer buttons do not send an ARP initially as the 1st gen ones do...Does the app cater for the difference in the newer buttons?

I found a solution! In pull request user AceoStar added support for new dash button.
