Thanks for noticing it, added your code with some modifications. I wasn't able to invoke OnRequestPermissionsResultCallback so you still have to relaunch the app to use it. Aiming SDK 21 seems safer ...

It's not safer, as you know the user can still deny permission. 61 % of devices running android are Marshmallow and above so why not progressing along?
