panel does not appear at all about lxqt-panel HOT 9 CLOSED

It's caused by a missing g_type_init() call in menu-cacahe.
Fixed now. Please reinstall menu-cache from git.

I know what's the problem. My commits is overeritten by the scheduled
auto-sync from sf.net git repos. So they're gone.
I need to push a copy to sf.net as well.

This commit didn't fix my issue. As a workaround I need to compile lxqt-panel without menu-cache support.

The fix is in menu-cache, not lxqt-panel itself.
BTW, what's your glib version?
