Hi,
sorry for answering so late, I'm very busy at the moment.
Any idea how a apt-get update could remove a former working gpio pin factory?
I am a little puzzled.
I have no idea why that would break the plugin, I often update my pi like that and never had that problem.
I would suggest that you uninstall the plugin, without erasing the plugin data. Maybe also make a backup of your config file (just in case).
After that you can try to uninstall gpiozero with: sudo pip3 uninstall gpiozero pigpio
(That's what I found to uninstall it)
Then reinstall my plugin, as this installs all requirements that it needs.
I hope that helps :)
Cheers,
Sam

This is OSS - there is no support contract. I appreciate the time whenever you have it :)
In the end I got it working by just deinstalling and reinstalling.
Even without even doing pip3 uninstall gpiozero pigpio
.
I didn't do the pip uninstall because strangely enough pip3
(or pip
) doesn't seem to be available on the base system as such. It seems like octoprint uses python3 -m pip
to install - which works.
Thanks for the help - and the plugin!
