Hi! I don't see why not. It might be sometimes two logic totally differents, and some part might overlap. But other than giving you two solution, I don't think it will be a problem. Maybe we'll have some CSS classes with the same name, but it's very unlikely. But the problem might be on the weight of your app, as the two frameworks are starting to have a lot of code. And loading the two at the same time might put quite a load on your app too. But that's just guesses, never tried to use both at the same time.

Yes, I am giving lumx a serious try, substituting angular-material components. So far, so good, but there are some design choices in Lumx that I seriously disagree, for instance not having a Dialog service and making Progress a service rather than a directive.

I'm working on a Chrome App where I'm using both angular-material and LumX. The dropdown list was the reason why I ended up using LumX together with angular-material, and right now I'm primarily only using the sidebar feature of angular-material. Both UI frameworks implements the CSS a little differently, I kinda hope that all of the material UI frameworks eventually implements the same style.

I'm also waiting for this layout example to be available, is this going to change how FlexBox is designed in lumx. Also very keen to see sidebar making into the next release. Any date of it's release?

Good question. I'm mostly interested in the date / time pickers from LumX
