At what point can we get a Software Eye on this (@rminnich ?) to organize our memory spaces?

If anyone is or has access to a linker script wizard it would certainly be useful to get a more thorough review. Most linker scripts are copied and pasted from something else then hack until they work, and it would be nice to do a bit better. Even as a compiler dev, I very very rarely touch linker scripts.

just to comment on this bug.. i've made some minor modifications around incorporating flash, booting from ROM and including interrupt vectors.
Could someone have a look to see if it is currently sufficient for closing this bug?
