More granular column mapping about smart-table HOT 3 CLOSED

you are right, smart-table does not support multi level mapping. This is something I could introduce.
However, for your particular use case, you can still map to the container object and use the format function to retreive a particular property.

//this has been injected in the controller so that you format function can have it in its closure

      formatFunction:function(value,formatParameter){
           return filter('format')(value.numbers,'number',formatParameter);
