Well hello there 🌌

I'm Lissa and I'm a phd in mathematical physics

🐦 I'm currently in-between stuff

Here on my github you can find

📉 notebooks with the numerical analyses of my papers

🔧 simple Mathematica packages (for personal use) that really simplified the computations I performed during my phd

🎯 projects I've worked on for personal/professional development or just for fun

Most of my work on Quantum Field Theory on Curved Spacetimes is available online

📄 my papers are available on ArVix and on Inspire

Lissa S. C.'s Projects

curvaturetensors icon curvaturetensors

Short Mathematica package that, given a metric and a coordinate chart, implements the Ricci, Riemann, and Einstein tensors and Ricci and Kretschmann scalars; as well as covariant derivatives of tensors of rank 1, 2 or 3, and an auxiliary contraction function.

dsa_powerbi icon dsa_powerbi

Just the dashboards I've created when taking the course "Microsoft Power BI for Business Intelligence and Data Science" offered by Data Science Academy.

hypergeometric2f1 icon hypergeometric2f1

A simple Mathematica package that implements solutions of the hypergeometric equation, their connection formulas and information regarding their domain of validity and equivalences. These expressions can be found in several textbooks and also online. The reason why I implemented this was not just to have the crude expression, but mainly to be able to access information regarding the sector of the complex plane where each function is analytic, where is its branch cut, and to be able to move the branch cut, by multiplying each solution by a constant, in a such a way that I still had 4 equivalent solutions.

latex_style icon latex_style

For plots with latex style: title, labels and ticks with the compatible fonts using either Mathematica or matplotlib.

myphd icon myphd

My PhD thesis and auxiliary notebooks.

odestransformations icon odestransformations

Mathematica package with functions for transforming the dependent and independent variables of second order ordinary differential equations.

scalarwaveequation icon scalarwaveequation

A Mathematica package that implements a function that computes the scalar wave equation, with a potential term, on a general manifold. It does not SOLVE it, it just computes the derivatives.

the_best_classifier icon the_best_classifier

Machine learning project: implementation and comparison of several algorithms to classify loan applications from a historical dataset.

thermal_effects_on_a_global_monopole icon thermal_effects_on_a_global_monopole

Mathematica notebook with implementations of the the transition rate, the thermal fluctuations and the energy density, as defined in the paper "Thermal effects on a global monopole with Robin boundary conditions".

unruh_dewitt_on_rindlerads_and_static_btz icon unruh_dewitt_on_rindlerads_and_static_btz

Numerical analyses of "Comments on the anti-Hawking effect on a BTZ black hole spacetime" regarding an Unruh-deWitt detector on Rindler-AdS spacetime and on a static BTZ black hole.
