Nemo-dropbox doesn't shows up in Ubuntu 14.04 64 bits about nemo-extensions HOT 7 CLOSED

Are you sure the daemon is running?

try:

dropbox start -i

This should be in your autostart programs as well (You can go into Startup Programs from the menu and there should have been an entry made there for dropbox)

the daemon is running, and is listed as enabled in the autostart program (without delay).

By the way, I had two other indicators: Disper and Audio recorder (also enabled in autostart and running), and only Disper is shown in the system tray: I see the running processes of all the three applications and system tray applet is enabled on cinnamon... No error shown in the Cinnamon error tab.

Maybe any package needed not upgraded?

Solved. Updated to last nightly version, restart cinnamon and the icons are back.

Just an update: If I shutdown session and start up, I lose the indicators again. Restarting cinnamon make them to show up...

Updated to last nightly version today, same behaviour. I think the problem is not this applet, but the systray one.

I attach two looking glass error images, the first one, cinnamon started without Dropbox icon. Then I restart cinnamon using the troubleshoot link,without login out and I see the icon. As you can see, on the first image there is no "Adding systray: dropbox-client"


The error seen is due to an updated power applet.

Updated today again with last nightly and now I see the dropbox applet from scratch, without restarting cinnamon.
