Have you restarted nemo - or logged out, back in - since installing nemo-compare?

Yes, this is not recent, so I've done plenty of reboots in between. I've been working with LM15 since it came out, but just decided to file the bug right now... I did remove nemo-compare with Synaptic (doing a purge) so in theory no config files were left, and reinstalled. But still, it doesn't show up.

I had this problem, and it turned out to be a missing symbolic link for a library. See my solution here:
