trying to port kupfer's kupfer_provider.py to nemo - can someone give me a hint? about nemo-extensions HOT 2 OPEN

Add:
from gi.repository import GdkX11
to the beginning of the file.

Try changing this to:

if window:
    window_id = window.get_window().get_xid()
else:
    window_id = 0

See if that helps..

thanks for quick response!! hmm now I get AttributeError: 'NonType' object has no attribute 'get_xid'

If I remove the GdkX11 import line, I get the same error message?!?
I can print the get_window() method, so this one exists.
AND if I print window_id, it tells the same id code as when I use

from gi.repository import Gtk
w = Gtk.Window()
w.realize()
print w.get_window()
print w.get_window().get_xid()

so I get a window id , but also an error?!?
