mintMenu displays menu launchers registered at the system or user level. Some AppImages add a menu launcher but many don't; that's not something mintMenu can fix. You can however use AppImageLauncher to better integrate such AppImages on your system, including have menu launchers made for them. See the video on the linked page for explanation.
