Thanks for using Cron. I don't understand why the cron.lock file is not deleted sometimes, either. I am using the PHP default function unlink
for deleting files with Cron. In the PHP docs some users report that "unlink can fail after using ODBC commands on the file (on Windows)". I like your idea with the "Lock file found" event and I will implement this later this week.
