The game works without problems, it's not a bad dump or anything, the problem is that they use Mednafen Fast, which as the name says, is fast but not precise, you have to use the other one, the normal PCE beetle.
The core called Beetle SuperGrafx is the same as fast, only with SuperGrafx support enabled.

Hello, remember to put the save or quicksave to be able to load the game and check the error. Because they are not going to start playing the game until the specific area where it fails.
With that, we can check if it is a bug of the emulator or the iso or the Android system.

Came across this cause a RetroAchievements dev was having a similar issue and I was trying to help him troubleshoot it. The graphical glitches are even present in the opening cutscene. It happens in both Beetle PCE Fast and Beetle SuperGrafx. My guess is that the Redump-verified version of the game is actually a bad dump.
However, there's also a report of it glitching and hanging in the Mednafen forums: https://forum.fobby.net/index.php?t=msg&th=1358&start=0&

Well,still I am not sure about the best core for the game, I have found out another emulator, which called OOTAKE on PC,running the game perfectly from beginning to end(Although with a poor shader)!
Anyway,I'll keep an eye on update of retroarch's core,for I can play the game on retroarch with a better shader.😊
