Hi

I replaced the "platform" attribute by "os" and "arch" in my library based on PackR but you should rather add another platform into PackR instead of dropping them.

I too would love Arm support! I have several Raspi 2s that I'd like to be able to use for showcasing the game at meetups with a small monitor or power TVs at conventions.

@littletinman How can I help you? What is missing? You can use the JRE packaged for Debian supporting ARM and modify a bit PackR to make it work. Feel free to contact me if you need some help. I received my Raspberry Pi 2 a few weeks ago too :)

@gouessej Oh wow I thought it was more complicated! I'm having difficulty locating the JRE ARM download though....

I'm not a big fan of this option, you can use Oracle JavaSE For Embedded as a first step. Otherwise, you can use openjdk-8-jre-zero, openjdk-8-jre-jamvm (icedtea-7-jre-jamvm is enough for Java 1.7), openjdk-8-jre-headless (with Hotspot JIT) or OpenJDK 8 JRE with Cacao (or icedtea-6-jre-cacao if Java 1.6 is enough for you). Xerxes knows this subject very well, I advise you to contact him: http://labb.zafena.se/?p=576

I'll publish some information tomorrow.

Some examples:

https://packages.debian.org/unstable/java/openjdk-8-jre-jamvm
https://packages.debian.org/unstable/java/icedtea-7-jre-jamvm
https://packages.debian.org/testing/java/openjdk-8-jre-jamvm
https://packages.debian.org/testing/java/icedtea-7-jre-jamvm
https://packages.debian.org/stable/java/icedtea-7-jre-jamvm
https://packages.debian.org/stable/java/openjdk-7-jre-zero

Good luck.

I'm willing to review any PR for adding AArch support, but with the release of jpackage, I'm not working on enhancements to packr.
