Hi,

HOME can't be catched on Android i'm afraid so you always have to prepare for your application to be paused.

Mapping KEYCODE_BACK to VK_ESCAPE is something i don't want to do i'm afraid. MENU and SEARCH i wouldn know what to map to. HOME could be mapped to, well, home (or POS1 on german keyboards).

In general i only want to map keys that have a direct correspondence. I don't want to mask keys, like in the case of Escape. If you need that functionality it is easier to add that yourself in your own app without potentially breaking other people's apps.

I'll leave this open for further discussion

I'm closing this for the time being. We don't plan on mapping those keys. You can easily simulate this yourself by catching the escape and back key. the escape key will map to KEYCODE_UNKNOWN but you will get the real Swing key code out of the event.
