Is it possible to run minimal with BTF? about libbpf-bootstrap HOT 4 CLOSED

It works after upgrade to ubuntu 20.10 :)

I think BTF is reasonable, and it's better to update my kernel :)

So the kernel support for BTF is not necessary and libbpf gracefully handles that. "Kernel doesn't support BTF, skipping uploading it." is just informational message.

The real problem here is that your kernel doesn't support BPF global variables: "libbpf: kernel doesn't support global data". So for that, you need to either remove global variables from minimal or update the kernel.
