OP_RETURN example about bitcoin-ruby HOT 4 CLOSED

Not directly, but you can create an OP_RETURN output script easily with Bitcoin::Script.to_op_return_script("deadbeef"), and use it like any other type of output script.

With the Bitcoin::Builder you can do

t.output do |o|
  o.to "deadbeef", :op_return
  o.value 0
end

There should at least be a spec that demonstrates this.

Also, the value is now 0 by default, so you can just do

t.output {|o| o.to "deadbeef", :op_return }
