Pylint issue when running make about data-setup HOT 2 CLOSED

New DS setup day today. This is a screenshot of the check results from one of the students. As mentioned in the original post, there are some dependency issues with the typing_extensions package which cause pylint installation to fail.

The package pylint is broken,
because pip can't find automatically a solution that solve all the conflicts of dependencies => the most recent versions of pylint and tensorflow have some common dependencies but they don't use the same versions of those dependencies.

It seems that we can solve the conflict manually by installing older versions of those packages :

• pip install -U "pylint<2.8"
• pip install -U "tensorflow<2.6" (if you are not on Mac M1)
• pip install -U "tensorflow-macos<2.6" (if you are on Mac M1)

Depending of your OS, you might have to cap other packages to resolve all the conflicts

on Mac M1, I had to modify this package as well:

• pip install -U "google-cloud-bigquery<2.21"
