Backend preview broken about typo3-secure-downloads HOT 4 CLOSED

This should be finally fixed in current master. I will release a new version of this extension shortly.

Hi,

there should now be a thumbnail for files, that are secured by this extension. Also the logger should now be initialized properly. Regarding the PHP warning: Do you deliver files via your nginx web server? And if so, can you provide more information about your configuration?

Hello,

thank you for the quick action. The affected installation is on a hosted webspace with the option to deliver static files via nginx. It is not supposed to be activated but I have to check, which is currently not possible, as I'm travelling.

What else would you like to know regarding the configuration?

As this is a live system, I'd like to wait for the patches to be in a regular release. Is there a plan for the next 4.x release already?

I can confirm this bug in Version 4.0.0 of the extension, no images are displayed in the TYPO3 backend.

When using the current Github master, the images are shown, but there is still the following warning:

My setup:

• TYPO3 9.5.10
• EXT:secure_downloads: current Github master
• Apache: 2.4.38
• PHP: 7.2.22
