Problem with scrolling and images about flutter_staggered_grid_view HOT 5 CLOSED

Ok thank you, I succeeded to reproduce, but I don't know when I will have the time to look into this.
Even if I set a KeepAlive on the top widget the image get destroyed. I need to dive in deeper.

We also had jumping scroll view that was very frustating. It looked as if the scrollview jumped after the top cards of the staggered grid view were dismissed.

What solved it was specifying a big value of cacheExtent to CustomScrollView (yes, we were using SliverStaggeredGrid insde of CustomScrollView, not StaggeredGridView, but same concept probably could be applied). The example code goes like this:

CustomScrollView(
  cacheExtent: 100000, // This line is important
  slivers: <Widget>[
    SliverStaggeredGrid.countBuilder(...)
  ],
)

Note that this is a hacky solution and should only be used if you have a relatively short list of items. Otherwise, it will use up too much memory and performance.
