BlockchainSynchronizer failed to query blocks

Hello,

I started the wallet and I get this error every minute:

2018-Jan-17 13:19:46.373244 ERROR [BlockchainSynchronizer] Failed to query blocks: NodeErrorCategory:3, Network error

Can you explain to me what this means and what (if anything) should I do to fix it ?

pool wallet error

Hi, intensecoin.

I am running a ITNS pool. Just 3 days, it runs without any problem. However, after last block, I found the pool wallet works incorrectly as follows. Please help me. Thanks.

New difficulty algorithm

If you're still using my old Zawy v1b difficulty algorithm, you should upgrade to LWMA. Five Monero/Cryptonote coins are using it now (here's their charts) and about 6 more coin are about to fork to use it.

Are you using N=17 block for zawy v1b?

walletd: WARNING Requested method not found: getbalance

  • intensecoin 1.4.1 downloaded from "Releases"
  • Ubuntu 16

Running walletd, I run curl 127.0.0.1:8070/json_rpc -d '{"method":"reset"}'

walletd outputs:

2018-Jan-08 06:13:36.967408 INFO Wallet loading is finished.
2018-Jan-08 06:13:36.967590 INFO Wallet has been reset

RPC works.

Then I run curl 127.0.0.1:8070/json_rpc -d '{"method":"getbalance"}'
walletd prints WARNING Requested method not found: getbalance

It seems like getbalance is a valid method: https://github.com/valiant1x/intensecoin/blob/master/src/Wallet/WalletRpcServer.cpp#L105

Lost coins in pool

Hi, all

I am an ITNS pool manager. Last 24 hours, my pool found 20 blocks. However, I found that the pool wallet didn't have enough coins to payout. I had to send my own coins to the pool. I am not sure what really happened.

  1. We found an orphan block (105201). Should the pool pay any coins to the miner? How to avoid orphan block?
  2. I set the payment in config.json as follows:
    "payments": {
    "enabled": true,
    "interval": 600,
    "maxAddresses": 5000,
    "mixin": 1,
    "transferFee": 500000,
    "minPayment": 100000000,
    "maxTransactionAmount": 0,
    "denomination": 10000000
    },
    Maybe I should change the transferFee to 50000, and set the minPayment to 10000000?

Any suggestions are appreciated!

Orphaned block in pools

Hello,

I tried to understand the orphaned block by searching some topics in Google already. If you think it is not worth to answer, issue can be closed.

I have a small personal pool which just recently found a block and it stated that the block is orphaned. Will reward still come to us or to other pool? I checked the balance of pool wallet and saw reward given with X amount of ITNS but wallet of the pool didn't spread to miners for the reason of orphaned.

Regards,

Daemon - Segmentation fault (core dumped)

Can anyone help on the intensecoind dying with a "Segmentation fault (core dumped)" error?

I am testing out a nodejs-pool build (https://github.com/Snipa22/nodejs-pool), and all works fine, until I start the blockManager, which kills the daemon.

The packages I have may be incorrect:
"forknote-util": "git+https://github.com/wallet42/node-forknote-util.git",
"cryptonote-util": "git+https://github.com/Snipa22/node-cryptonote-util.git#xmr-Nan-2.0",
"multi-hashing": "git+https://github.com/Snipa22/node-multi-hashing-aesni.git"

I don't have a working set of instructions, so am really doing this on trial and error.

Instructions for compiling on mac OSX (high sierra)

Having problems running cmake .. on mac osx high sierra. Would appreciate some instructions for Mac OSX. Thanks

I have boost installed and I can see libboost_thread-mt.dylib in /usr/local/opt/boost/lib/

-- Could NOT find Threads (missing: Threads_FOUND)
CMake Error at /usr/local/Cellar/cmake/3.10.1/share/cmake/Modules/FindBoost.cmake:1928 (message):

compilation on Arch Linux fails (part 2)

Hello, can you fix this?
Current code doesn't compile anymore on current Arch Linux (23 days ago it did compile).
I have removed "-Werror" from CMakeLists.txt, but it doen't help as suggested in previous issue
Thanks!

Here is the output:

Intensecoin wallet v.1.4.21 issue

Hello. I have downloaded Intensecoin wallet v.1.4.21, create a wallet and got a wierd problems:

  1. deamon doesn't connect to chain (C:\ProgramData\intensecoin\lmdb 76.0 KB (77,824))
    sync_info
    Height: 1, target: 1 (100%)
    Downloading at 0 kB/s
    3 peers
    111.231.72.116:48772 0000000000000000 0 0 kB/s, 0 blocks / 0 MB queued
    104.200.65.202:48772 0000000000000000 0 0 kB/s, 0 blocks / 0 MB queued
    62.48.164.61:48772 0000000000000000 0 0 kB/s, 0 blocks / 0 MB queued
    0 spans, 0 MB

  2. all other wallet version (1.4.1, GUI version and CLI version from off.site) doesn't accept any *.key or wallet file from v.1.4.2 because seems that password is incorrect, even it is empty.

  3. Pre-release 1.4.3 opens wallet file, but still doesn't upload the chain. With manually import blockchain.raw file i see a zero balance.

Windows 8.1 x64

Helping to my friend with Intense Wallet and He have problem

upload from GitHub wallet but not work on Windows 8.1 x64 Rus

http://prntscr.com/hy4ule

am try on my computer with Windows7 x64 and it's work correct.

Any solution for Win 8.1?

So I downloaded 1.4.2prelease and mined to an wallet created with 1.4.2

Then I realized I could not access my mined itns. The intensecoind.exe is not syncing with the main chain. I tried to restore the CLI created wallet with 1.4.1 simplewallet.exe and gui wallet. Both return wrong password.
What are my solution options? Would waiting for 1.4.2 going online help? I do have the 25 words and private keys, is that possible to restore the wallet on 1.4.1 wallet?

I want to setup pool

Hi, i want to setup pool. And i how how to setup aeon/xmr pool. But its little different, what is the connectivity tool? how much ram needed for this and can i use aeon+intense pool on one server?

Does not compile on Ubuntu 17.10

It does compile on Ubuntu 16.04.3 LTS but not on Ubuntu 17.10
Tried both GCC 5.4.1 and GCC 7.2.0 (it gives diffferent errors).

When using sed -i -e 's/-Werror//g' CMakeLists.txt it compiles and the node works, but it's probably not a good idea to use this.

At below the make output.
Thanks!

intensecoind RPC getblockheight returns wrong block

I call getblockheight asking for block at height 90 and it returns block at height 89:

getblockheight(90) ->
    returns
        height 89 (??)
        hash 74011bffa6b6e091257bdadf5e3ca8d669daa153fe77ca7168d7935c5b656e69

Meanwhile, getlastblockheader shows the true block at height 90

getlastblockheader ->
    returns
        height 90
        hash 40608830e177c1bcb6fec91769cc00544cf980f50e2f03319d84928bc02d1e7b

Compare with Monero, which returns the same height block for which you request:

curl node.xmrbackb.one:18081/json_rpc -d '{"method":"getblockheaderbyheight", "params": { "height": 1489569}}'

Returns block 1489569:

{
  "id": 0,
  "jsonrpc": "2.0",
  "result": {
    "block_header": {
...
      "hash": "28a3421c281ae49d275f9045ea32d8b4265e12358e082bb3002083a6cec3e713",
      "height": 1489569,
...
    },
    "status": "OK"
  }

Document transitions needed to new rebase wallet

Just starting a thread to collect these differences.

  • Wallet location: rebase is in My Documents\intensecoin\wallets
  • For pool operators: Adding 1 to block height RPC commands is incorrect and unnecessary

Simplewallet won't start

Hi,

I am trying to generate a wallet with sources compiled on ubuntu 16.04 and this is what I get every time:

2018-Jan-16 11:04:29.945779 ERROR Error: failed to save new wallet: locale::facet::_S_create_c_locale name not valid
2018-Jan-16 11:04:29.946625 ERROR Error: failed to generate new wallet: locale::facet::_S_create_c_locale name not valid
2018-Jan-16 11:04:29.946663 ERROR account creation failed
2018-Jan-16 11:04:29.946690 ERROR Failed to initialize wallet
2018-Jan-16 11:04:43.831679 ERROR Error: wallet failed to connect to daemon (http://localhost:48782).

Any ideas as to why this might happen ?

p.s. the daemon seems to work just fine and it is listening on the correct port.

This looks somewhat bad and the daemon seems to got stuck at this block. Doesn't look good to me at least. Is this anything one needs to know about and is there something I can do about that on my end?

Using the latest binary release of Intensecoin-daemon-mac.

Regards,

compilation on Arch Linux fails

Hello, can you fix this?

  • fallocate is at /usr/bin/fallocate
  • malloc_usable_size i'm not shure what is wrong
  • JNI library is a dependecy, but not yet mentioned in the README i guess

Thanks

Can't sync past 148673, "Failed to parse block from blob"

Potentially related to Issue #45.

Multiple reports have come in that this is affecting everyone using the XMR Rebase tools, including with the recent patch that addressed Issue 45 already applied. This seems different.

The only current workaround is to revert to 1.4.1/1.4.2 tools and use them for now.

General output as seen from when my workstation when to sync this morning:

Sent balance not deducted after update

Hello,

I just re-compile intense again today by cloning from github. After blockchain synced, I created new wallet from --generate-from-view-key option. After the new imported wallet re-sync with blockchain, I have seen the balance only "received" and there is no sent balance out. It meant that the balance of my new wallet created from viewkey is more than it supposed to be.

Regards,
