I have created a github fork and imported other peoples commits plus my own fixes to https://github.com/breisig/phpLDAPadmin . I have tested it (just basic tests) on php 7.1 [7.1.16] and php 7.2 [7.2.4] and it works.

I have installed it on a FreeBSD 11.1 p9 amd64 machine, and it works perfectly. I have not completely tested it out; however, I feel it will be a great replacement for the older, apparently unmaintained, version. Thanks!

@OndrejLycka could you let me know which webserver you managed to get it working? I am running 18.04 and using nginx but still having problems as described here:

I use apache2. Version from package has (mayby still have) erros.
Version from https://github.com/breisig/phpLDAPadmin is OK.

How do we raise this issue (and the new fork) with the Ubunbtu folks? The version out of the Ubuntu repo still has this issue.
Is this project no longer maintained then?
