i have the same problem. Is there any fix/workaround?
I am using:
RELEASE-1.2.2 / 1.2.2-5.2ubuntu2.1

I dont fully understand - can you provide an example of what is happening, and what you expect.

the wiki[1] states that order can be used to ... order the attributes on a page. If order is not provide, values will be displayed in order defined in the template.
BUT if I used order, the value was ignored and everything was sorted by the NAME of the field instead, so order seems to be ignored.
note: I am not using phpldapadmin anymore so i cannot give you further feedback if something changed since Jan 2018.

OK, closing this for now. PLA is under a re-write for v2. If somebody has this issue and can provide a template, steps to produce I'll take a look.
