Any news regarding support of language tags (RFC3866)?

Please be kind to inform us if there are any plans for adding such support in the foreseeable future!

Thanks,
Nick

The issue still applies to phpLDAPadmin latest (1.2.4). For example, the sn attribute is included correctly in the entry, but not those with language tags ({sn;lang-el-gr} and {sn;lang-en-us}); the following errors are displayed, preceded by a question mark icon each;

phpLDAPadmin doesnt support RFC3866.
PLA might not do what you expect... {sn;lang-el-gr} (a:1:{s:6:"values";a:1:{i:0;s:10:"Μήλας";}})

phpLDAPadmin doesnt support RFC3866.
PLA might not do what you expect... {sn;lang-en-us} (a:1:{s:6:"values";a:1:{i:0;s:5:"Milas";}})

Since many years have passed, allow me to ask again if PLA is planned to be able to handle correctly language-tagged attributes any time soon? It is a very crucial feature for all DITs around the world that contain multi-lingual attributes.

For simplicity, PLA could be initially modified to at least display properly already existing language-tagged attributes and allow editing of their values (as in v1.1.0.7, see below). I realize that it would be more complex to create new language-tagged attributes and/or modify them, and such an implementation could be done a bit later.

Interestingly, the 1.1.0.7 version was handling correctly all attributes, even those with Language Tags! I checked my archives and found that a similar problem (errors caused by attributes with lang tags) was present in v1.1.0.5, but the latest 1.1.0.x series version, which was 1.1.0.7, works well. (We are still using it on a CentOS 5 box with PHP 5.1.) Unfortunately, it only works with obsolete PHP versions (< 5.3).

Thank you for all your efforts!
