I think this is because of this line https://github.com/Leaflet/Leaflet.heat/blob/gh-pages/src/HeatLayer.js#L141, leaflet heatmap will recalculate the heat value based on the zoom level which i think it is not the right behavior.

Ends up looking different, I got this (top middle has a big red bit):

I found that this bug is happening when the map zoom on different set of point.

For example if you zoom using the leaflet button you always get the same resultat with the heatmap.

But when you zoom at a different point you get different result. It seems that some point off the screen are not taken account for the gradient.
