@saqadri Hosted or Cloud version, both options are viable and great. When it comes to the API exposure, I was just imagining a possibility of aiconfig proxy server, or it could be a cloud one ex: https://pezzo.ai/
Both has its own pros and cons and I believe, both of the options are a must. Imagine storing the configuration outside the application, beyond the config files, that's exactly will help the developers and organizations to easily manage, publish and test out things in no time.
I strongly advise you to take a look into https://pezzo.ai/. It's an open source one, you are free to register and experiment.

@ranjancse26 thanks for the suggestion. Can you give some more information on what kind of API you have in mind?
Would you prefer a hosted version that lets you invoke the different models without having to install and set them up?
Or is it more about configuring aiconfig extensions?
