@mrkschan How are you using prospector? Are you installing it globally then using it on projects with virutalenvs?
Currently it uses the value of sys.path plus some extra additions for pylint so if you set PYTHONPATH as an environment variable you should be able to control where it looks. Can you try that and let me know if you still have the problem? It could be a different issue - I've had problems with the pylint path munging in the past.

@carlio you are right. I'm installing prospector globally and checking a project in a venv. Setting the PYTHONPATH to include the venv works :).
